Very witty update of Cyrano de Bergerac, he of the huge proboscis herein played by Steve Martin as the town's chief fireman trying to woo the gorgeous Roxanne. Watch as our hero outwits a beer-soaked numbskull who attempts to make fun of him by calling out "Hey, Big Nose!" He dresses him down in front of the whole bar by rolling out 20 better insults the redneck could have used.
Great laughs from Steve Martin who was really starting to roll.
