Review of Route 30 (2008) by John W — 21 Feb 2010
A fun little movie, but probably not relevant unless you've lived in, or know about, a quirky area Pennsylvania along U.S. Route 30 between Gettysburg and Chambersburg. Was surprised to recognize actors I've seen a lot on TV (mostly) and movies.
A DeLuise? Two actors from Desperate Housewives? Somebody from best pic nominated 'District 9'? how did an (very) regional indie film manage to score this kind of talent? Who knows, but I'm glad they did.
Worth watching just to see the world famous Jenny Wade statue comes to life, tell all, and SING!
