Review of Rough Night (2017) by Rebekah W — 26 Jun 2017

Towards the beginning I expected that I wouldn't love it, but that I could probably enjoy myself. That very abruptly changed. Throughout the movie, the friends continue to do truly horrible things to each other and others and were expected to have sympathy for them, when in reality, I was just waiting for the movie to end.

When it finally did, I couldn't even tell if the audience was supposed to like any of the characters, but I firmly disliked every one of them. Few had any redeeming characteristics and I was left thinking about what the characters deserved to have happen to them as opppsed to what does happen to them, which was almost as disappointing as the fact that I spent any money at all on this film.

I would not recommend it.
