It's a perfect package if you're unfamiliar but not stimulating enough if you are. The subject is undeniably a fascinating character and his work speaks for itself. 'Rothko's Rooms' let's us see what Rothko wanted for his work in stunning details.
The qualm I have with the movie is the superfluous music that does a disservice to Rothko's work.
