Review of Rosewood (1997) by Elizabeth K — 30 Jun 2007
I only give it 4 stars because it is so sad. This movie is based on a true story about a black neighborhood back in the days, and they were coming up, they were what some white people back then would call respectable ans accomplished.
In the town next store a white woman was beat up by a man she was cheating on her husband with and when he came home and found her beat up she blamed someone from Rosewood so all but 1 white man went into the town and started burning it and hurting everyone.
