Rosewater has so many talents behind it but because of the director wasn't a director and storyteller ruined everything, so many unmotivated camera movements and mistakes in continuity and the progressions of characters are not there.
You want to see more about Maziar's life, not just by some short flash backs of very simple events...After watching the film and all those efforts on it, I could see how a non-director can ruin everything for actors to all the crew.
The story has more potential than simply like this being told.
