With solid cinematography and hopeful direction from John Stewart, the film wavers when it arrives at the heart of the matter. One particular gripe is how hashtags and news feeds consistently get in the way of the intimacy of the drama, and provide no real substance beyond to explain outright what is going on.
This is Bahari's story so shouldn't we be focusing on him?
