Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by Josiah H — 14 Jun 2007
Absolutely brilliant. Hilarious, original, clever, and as my teacher put it, "intellectually exhausting." Definitely a movie that has to be watched several times to catch everything. As a warning, it will make little or no sense to anyone who has not read and deeply understood Hamlet, the play from which it builds.
