Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by A R — 07 Aug 2007
Crackling dialogue and philosophizing that should delight every fan of Hamlet. It's a Post-Modern approach that does not irritate in the least. This is one to watch on a boring, rainy day. I'm only docking points for its lack of strong visual sensibility, which is, I suppose, often what you get when theatrical types dabble in film.
