Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by Eryn D — 25 Aug 2007
I'm not sure how much one has to have liked Hamlet to enjoy this film, but I know I certainly enjoyed both, and this play/movie even more than the source material. Granted, the source material is what gives it meaning and life to begin with, but that doesn't mean that it can't still come out as the favoured work for me.
I love witty, existentialist works like this, especially ones with such breathtaking cinematography and performances to go along with the script.
