Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by Elizabeth T — 28 Dec 2008
Ah yes. This movie made that warm, squishy, Shakespeare loving center in me just sizzle. The dialogue, though heavy and often confusing (I HIGHLY recommend subtitles to get the full effect of all the terrific puns), is fantastic and very thoughtful.
Tim Roth and Gary Oldman are just too great together! How can you not love a play within a play within a play?
