Review of Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1991) by Luke E — 18 Feb 2009
Great adaptation. For a Hamlet lover, it was a great, more lighthearted side of the story. However, even having read Hamlet, it ocassionaly got confusing. Incredible acting, but Rosencrantz's character was very confusing to me at times.
Hilarious moments, tear-jerking moments, thought-provoking moments, entertaining moments, this had it all. But through it all, I felt like something was missing. It seemed like a very casual movie. Which is great sometimes.
I dunno. Very difficult to process, this movie.
