Review of Rosemary's Baby (1968) by Jared S — 10 Aug 2012
Rosemary's Baby isn't a slasher. It uses paranoia to scare you. It is worse when a loved one is doing the evil then someone with a mask. At a running time of two hours and fourteen minutes this is a hefty film.
Not once is it boring. Even when it is done I found myself wishing it was longer. This is one of the best horror films ever made. I wish more films would look to this instead of Friday the 13th as a template for how horror films should be made.
