"He has his father's eyes.".
This film should not have worked. Yet Roman Polanski creates a world so real and so wonderfully narrated by his characters that when the final apocalyptic and darkly comic scene rolls, you cannot help but be in shock. A horror movie created horrific only through its atmosphere. A sick movie.
