Review of Rosemary's Baby (1968) by Aiu N — 18 Jul 2015
I finally pulled the trigger on watching this movie, not proud that I haven't seen it until now. Maybe back when this came out it had more of an impact but as with most older movies it doesn't really hold up, at least to me.
The acting is not great and even the directing I found to be off, especially the way it transitioned from and to scenes sometimes. It did hold my attention and the movie did have an overall creepiness and it had a nice and creepy ending.
This is more of a thriller than a horror movie. "The Pianist" and "The Ghostwriter" are much better Polanski films.
