Review of Rosemary's Baby (1968) by Colin F — 05 Oct 2012
Absolutely flawless horror movie. Some strong stuff in this, a struggling actor decides to further his career by joining a bunch of devil worshippers next door, who promise he will go far (my putting spells on opposing actors) all he has to do is drug his wife and let the devil impregnate her in a very surreal unsettling scene.
Its a long movie, but its absolutely captivating, I love films such as The Omen and The Exorcist, but this is head and shoulders over them, Mia Farrow is perfectly cast as Rosemary who goes on this disturbing journey, the ending is brilliant but equally disturbing.
A lesson to be learn, avoid over bearing neighbours with dodgy milk shakes!
