Review of Rope (1948) by Jeremy B — 24 Jul 2008
One of Hitchcock's most underrated films, with a powerful story to tell about moral relativism, gutsy acting from John Dall and Farley Granger as two sexually ambiguous thrill killers and an ambitious long-take style that emphasizes the claustrophia and tension of the killers' universe.
A film that will truly have you on the edge of your seat for 80 minutes.
