Review of Rope (1948) by Brandon C — 24 Aug 2010
A beautifully executed experiment of a film. Alfred Hitchcock performs the delicate and masterly craft of artistically manipulating perspective and perception. Using a seemingly simple, straight to the point, suspense story by telling it in "seemingly" one-take; which it's actually 10 single take sequences masterfully edited together using techniques of the time.
Another standing ovation for the "Master Of Suspense" Alfred Hitchcock.
