Review of Rope (1948) by Jeff B — 12 Feb 2011
An amazing film, if only because of the premise. How will you stand up to the pressure of trying to conceal something like this? And, why? For art. It's the ultimate application of Nietzschean ethics to their horrible utmost end.
It shocks, and rightfully so.
