Review of Rope (1948) by Venkatesh S — 10 May 2012
This is not a great movie or anything, but the cinematography is off the grid! This is a limited setting movie with scenes that last about 10 minutes without any editing. Think about what that demands from the artists and the technicians.
One of Hitchcock's four limited setting movies. the others are Lifeboat, Dial M for Murder and Rear Window.
