Review of Rope (1948) by Mark A — 02 Aug 2012
I admire Hitchcock for his experiment in this one. Using long shots really added something to it. The film starts off slow, and at first the long shots don't help with that. But when James Stewart enters the film picks up.
Then Hitchcock turns up the suspense it gets really good, and the long shots pay off.
