Review of Rope (1948) by Andy F — 04 Mar 2013
A stunning piece of cinema that is utterly captivating from its opening scene. Can only imagine the impact this had on audiences in the 1940s. Hitchcock doesn't get much chance to flex his skills in this drama contained in one room but at the times he does the film sparkles more than ever.
Genius.
