Review of Rope (1948) by Ashley H — 18 May 2013
Rope is an excellent film. It is about two young men who strangle their "inferior" classmate, hide his body in their apartment, and invite his friends and family to a dinner party as a means to challenge the "perfection" of their crime.
James Stewart and John Dahl give incredible performances. The screenplay is well written. Alfred Hitchcock did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and suspense.
Rope is a must see.
