Review of Room Service (1938) by Jack G — 15 Dec 2015
This is not the best Marx Brothers' film, but it's still a funny screwball comedy that's toned-down a thousand octaves after the high-blown antics of "Duck Soup", "A Night at the Opera", and even "A Day at the Races".
If those three movies hadn't happened, this would be the logical successor. Jumping Butterballs! No musical numbers! Early Lucille Ball! Ann Miller!
