Room 237 deciphers all the cryptic clues left unsaid in The Shining with insightful and convincing analysis. While few details do seem a bit far-fetched, the docu, on the whole, manages to inform and entertain the audience at the same time.
The film not only demonstrates Kubrick's obsession with details, from the visual composition all the way down to the underlying subliminal messages, it has also made me look at The Shining in a completely different light.
