Review of Room 237 (2012) by David F — 10 Jun 2013
This is a very entertaining film about the sundry interpretations of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining that have turned up over the years. Fans of the movie have seen in it everything from an allegory about the genocide committed against Native Americans to a coded confession by Kubrick of his role in faking the moon landing footage.
When you see all the relevant and suggestive scenes, lines of dialogue and props put together you may find yourself persuaded by one of the chatty, maniacal fans of the horror movie classic from 1980.
