Review of Room 237 (2012) by Jeremy H — 14 Jul 2014
While a competent documentary and occasionally interesting, most of the runtime is spent on critics and filmmakers who clunkily force metaphors and interpretations on Kubrick's film. I wouldn't have a problem with it if so many of them weren't as arrogant as they come off, suggesting that no interpretation is as great as theirs, and no cinefile is as intelligent as them.
