Review of Room (2015) by Jonathan G — 07 Mar 2016
Room's concept was interesting and horrific. The implementation was subtle and to the point. I loved the crisp dialogues and imbibed philosophy. The pain and frustration as well as acceptance was palpable in brei larson.
She was classic. So was the boy. The pace was even and it kept me engaged to an extent. To make this concept realistic is no mean feat. Full marks to the director for this. But, I still found a cinematic spark missing.
I found it to drag a bit and maybe expectation was more but definitely better than most movies you'd have seen this year.
