I have never, ever cried in a movie but 'Room' got me close. I was so invested in the plight of that friggin' little kid and his mom that I was on the edge of my couch worried about them as if they were real people.

I have never had such a feeling while watching a movie. The base of the plot is so upsetting and the tension is so high that you just have to watch it until the end just hoping that everything turns out okay for the main characters.

I thought that this movie was going to be lame and someone had to talk me into watching it, but now it's one of my favorite films of all time.
