Review of Room (2015) by Simon T — 09 Oct 2017
Beautifully directed, slow and moving portrait of the tenacious love a mother has for the son she has been forced to raise alone in a garden prison. What led to her incarceration is only implied, with the focus almost entirely on the boy and his mother, their coping mechanisms and the unforeseen price of freedom.
Superb.
