Room (2015) delivers a captivating mother-son relationship, thanks to outstanding performances from Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay, that is genuine and emotionally powerful. Despite its bleak and shockingly tragic story, the film flourishes with its incredibly touching moments of optimism and heart.
Stephen Rennick's score is a gem. A must-watch.
