Review of Rookie of the Year (1993) by Louis S — 09 Oct 2010
Fun popcorn baseball fantasy-comedy about a kid who gains (temporarily at least) the ability to throw over 100 mph as a pitcher and lands with the Chicago Cubs. Some great performances (Daniel Stern is a scream as the inept pitching coach) and halfway decent writing makes this a fun classic.
