Ron White's bit contains entertaning, reminiscent elements of Jeff Foxworthy, George Burns, Dean Martin and Redd Foxx.

His heavy jaded sarcasm, his deep voice, his Southern drawl, his subtle swagger while sipping on Scotch out of an old-fashioned crystal, his being dressed stylishly, casually and completely in black, his pulling on and constantly fiddling with his Davidoff Millennium-Blend Lonsdale, his standing beside a side table with a stylish Scotch crystal decanter, ice bucket and ashtray at the ready - they all meld together.

To create an audience affinity with how White has experienced everything from his personal pleasure taken from a bidet to the list of things his wife won't do in bed (including discussing the contents of the list).

The viewer is warned that most, but not all, of this material is fairly blue in nature. To be fair, it's not 'wash your mouth out with soap' and/or 'Eddie Murphy Raw' filthy - else White couldn't have scored his gig at The Mirage - but these certainly aren't jokes for polite dinner conversation, either. That's not really much of a surprise these days, I suppose.

This bit saw heavy rotation on Comedy Channel, in coordination with the 4/21/09 DVD release.

RECOMMENDATION: White's one of the most talented stand-ups making the rounds the last few years, so if the content won't offend, his bit ought be viewed at least once.
