Review of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997) by Jeremy M — 30 Jul 2010
This film is one those irresistable, charming and funny films which is smarter than it seems. Romy and Michele are two likeable dumb blondes who in actual fact aren't that dumb. Romy and Michele epitomise true friendship and staying true to yourself, making it reach out to people on a personal and emotional level. The film can also relate to everyone whose had a rough deal in high school. Nervous about your next high school reunion- just think of Romy and Michele. Their blonde moments are super funny and even though Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino aren't brilliant actress they're still vibrant and a good sport along with the rest of the cast. I highly recommend this film, though it might not be to everyone's taste.
Grade: A-.
