I surprisingly quite enjoyed this chick flick. It is very funny with hilarious comic performances from Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow. I really enjoyed the supporting performances as well, ranging from Alan Cumming to Elaine Hendrix.
The writing is sharply funny, with some heart hidden in the script. However, some of the jokes were not as funny as others in the film. Also, throughout the film, I wished it went further into the raunchy and disgusting humor route.
Otherwise, I enjoyed Romy and Michele for what it was. It's a chick flick guys can laugh at too!
