Review of Romulus, My Father (2007) by Stacy C — 23 Jul 2008
Based on the memoirs of Raimond Gaita this tale shows of the deep morals his father had and Raimond's ever absent mother. Through everything this boy had to face and deal with in his young life, he came to be an educated and successful man.
This is a powerful and emotional film, perhaps a little slow-moving but brilliantly portrayed nonetheless. I thought Eric Bana was excellent as was the young Kodi Smit-Mcphee.
