Review of Romper Stomper (1992) by Andrea B — 07 Sep 2007
Riveting and powerful in the depiction of a subculture of "skinheads" in Austrailia. Crowe is strong and convincing in the role. Don't expect moral platitudes or moralizing at all, just watch and absorb how human animals can hate.
The most amazing piece is character development, we can see the layers of the main characters. Worth watching, but skip the popcorn.
