Review of Romeo Is Bleeding (1993) by Patrick S — 06 May 2008
A very quirky noir featuring the greatly talented Gary Oldman at the top of his game. It's a shame he doesn't get more credit as an actor. Altogether this is a great twisting maze of a film with suprises around every corner.
The only issue is the narration by Oldman, which feels a bit cheesey and forced at times. Still it is a film that manages to stand on it's own two feet, it just walks with a slight limp.
