Review of Romeo and Juliet (1968) by Conner R — 19 Jan 2010
The end all say all of Romeo and Juliet adaptions. It is by far the most imaginative and accurate depictions of the story. Franco Zeffirelli clearly knew how to bring one of Shakespeare's most beloved works to the screen.
The sets look beautiful and give the play a very realistic look. While it isn't a perfect movie, it is the best you can expect.
