Review of Romancing the Stone (1984) by Bastet 0 — 21 Dec 2008
A really fun adventure flick set in the hills of Colombia. The movie spotlights more of Turner than anything else (being a Romance novelist) with Douglas supplying the hero credentials. It flows quite well with a mixture of slow, romantic moments with fast chases and action.
A really cheesy ending and Douglas' white-lace shirt however is the only bring down.
