Review of Romancing the Stone (1984) by Lenny M — 13 May 2011

I remember coming out of the cinema excited and satisfied after watching this film. That was my secondary school days. But it did not stop my mind from cataloguing it as an entertaining movie. Watching 'Romancing the Stone' again reconfirms that memories are rather unreliable.

For a comedy, the moments are far too less and too bland to mention. Itâ(TM)s slightly weak to be considered an adventure. The characters have no particular personality or charm. Not even Danny Devito. Sorry. However as acting goes, Kathleen Turner did shine.
