Review of Romance & Cigarettes (2005) by Dorian J — 29 Oct 2007
This is a really fun movie. Turturro is not suprisingly a good director. It's quirky storytelling, and music, yet it doesn't lose it's dramatic punch like most movies of this calibre do, nor does it seem to switch gears when the drama comes in like "Dancer in the Dark" and similar movies do.
And the rare oppurtunity to see Gandolfini, Walken and others sing is pretty spectacular.
