Even noteworthy performances from Denzel Washington and Colin Farrell cant save this film. Its an interesting enough premise to begin with, but by the second act it devolves into a wash of virtue signalling and arcs that make you lose all interest in and/or sympathy for the protagonist. By the end its a bad episode of a TV courtroom drama. Pity, there was promise of far better...
