With Audrey Hepburn's luminous presence, beautiful cinematography, strong acting, a truly and thankfully atypical and refreshing ending, funny and sweet at the same time, Roman Holiday defies the conventional plot progression of the genre and moves the tired genre to an art form.
Consequently, it is arguably and indisputably the best romantic comedy of all time.
