Roman Holiday is as funny today as it was in 1953, and its humor resonates in almost all romantic comedies made today. The performances from Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck are predictably good, as they are set-up with a very witty script.
This movie has surprisingly little clichés, especially the unexpected ending and it will forever remain a classic.
