Beauitful Audrey Hepburn's first major film role earns her a well deserved Academy Award. She shines as the runaway princess and Gregory Peck as the handsome news reporter. Their romance is sweet and enchanting while also being realistic - though their situation is quite fantastic.
Roman Holiday avoids all the pitfalls of melodrama and just charms from start to finish.
