Review of Roman Holiday (1953) by Hsiao Ling P — 18 Nov 2011

Now I know why Blair Waldorf likes to watch Audrey Hepburn movies- they make you happy! Audrey's a classic in here and I just found out that this is her first starring role. I love the way she acted as Princess Ann- simply delightful. I was (half) hoping that she and Gregory Peck would get together at the end of the movie but alas! It was not meant to be as duties call. In any case, they have only known each other for three days? Guess that makes the whole story somewhat plausible but it is a pity.

Verdict after four Audrey movies? Breakfast at Tiffany still reign as my most favourite followed by My Fair Lady, Sabrina and Roman Holiday. Up next: Charade. ;).
