Roma is quite underwhelming. Its not for everyone, those in the comments below who raves about this movie probably saw something in it that I couldn't see. If we are going sentimental, there are better movies out there that portrays that emotion.
This one doesn't seem to give it enough... impact. It could be the black and white scheme it went for, it could be something else. Just my opinion. Im don't watch many of these types of films, but some that I do watch has etched an impression on me.
This doesn't seem to have. Good cinematography but bland protagonist and a story ive definitely seen or heard before a hundred times.
