I just don't get it. This movie is sweeping up all sorts of awards, so I knew I had to see it. I tried watching it. After 30 minutes, I was falling asleep. But then it won some more awards, and I was thinking I must be missing something.

So I tried watching it again. But it is SO boring, I couldn't make it through. Is every shot a work of art? Absolutely, but if I want to look at art I'll go to a museum. When I watch I movie, I'd like some sort of entertainment,.

.a character development, an intriguing plot, even an outstanding performance, ANYTHING. This movie had none of those things. I told some friends to watch the movie too, thinking maybe I was just missing something.

But they had the same reaction. What am I missing here? I'm all for artistic, unique films, but a movie has to have some sort of plot line that the audience cares about. This movie was too slow and boring to care much about anything in the end.

And I guarantee it's going to win the Oscar for Best Picture, which is such a shame considering the other phenomenal movies that came out this year.
