Review of Roma (2018) by Dean E — 07 Jan 2019
What a beautiful little film. Alfonso Cuaron acts as writer, director and cinematographer in bringing us the story of Cleo, a young domestic worker in early 1970's Mexico. This film is the definition of "the whole being greater than the sum of it's parts".
It isn't thrilling, it isn't action packed, it isn't a grand, sweeping story....but I am sure it will make you smile. It did for me.
